Sponsorship for this epic journey is required to help cover the costs.
During this extra year before the trip, we will be selling miles – all 3500 of them (the total number of the USA trip) for £10 each. (£10 sterling = $16 US) (27 May 09)
- 10% of the funds will be donated to Kids.org.uk. KIDS is a charity setup to enable disabled children and their families to manage and enjoy their lives.
- For every mile bought each purchaser will be entered into a draw and the winner will join us on the 2010 London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.
- Every mile purchaser will be listed on a separate page.
- Purchasers of 500 miles or more will have their name or company logo on the side of the Oldsmobile.

I live in Oldsmar Florida and work for the Upper Tampa Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce located in Oldsmar. RE Olds founded our city in the early 1900s. I realize your trip will not come close to us, but perhaps a visit before or after the crosscountry adventure might work. What are your thoughts about this? We have a replica of the 1904 Curved Dash on display in the lobby of city hall.
